No, not using JWS Publisher.

True Christians must always be ready and willing to give a witness to anyone they encounter, including family, friends, workmates, doctors, sales people, etc. In fact, we should always be actively trying to give a witness wherever and whenever possible.

Even if we have no plan to engage in formal witnessing for the rest of a month, we would always be on the lookout to give an informal witness. This might happen on the first day, or last day, of a month.

Always ready to make a defense before everyone who demands of you a reason for the hope you have, but doing so with a mild temper and deep respect” – 1 Peter 3:15

For example, what if an unbelieving relative phones you on the last day of a month with a problem? What if you receive a telemarketing call on the last day of the month? These situations might present a good opportunity to share our faith, and such time should be reported.

If there are rare and exceptional circumstances where you must submit your report early, you can simply do this manually by contacting your Group Overseer.

Record Field Service Activity

There are 2 ways:

  • Use decimals to represent partial hours, e.g. 1.5 = 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Use a colon to represent hours and minutes, e.g. 1:30 = 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Pl = Placements
  • Vid = Videos
  • Hrs = Hours
  • RV = Return Visits
  • BS = Bible Studies
  • Cr = Credit, e.g. Bethel, Pioneer school, etc.

Note: Label headings might be different in different languages, but the meaning is the same.

Any date where any Field Service Activity has been recorded will display a pink dot. This simply helps you quickly identify which dates you engaged in field service, but has no other affect.

No, Field Service Activity will not sync across multiple devices.

Field Service Reports with more than 1 hour should be submitted with whole hours only.

When submitting your report, NW Publisher give you the option to “carry forward to next month“. This means the extra minutes will be removed from this month, and placed on the 1st of next month. You can see this under Field Service Activity.
